Why evo 8-9 selling for more than evo x these days?

I have wondered this too. I have only driven 1 X and the interior is way better.
​​​​​​​If i had the money id buy a X as a DD but id still keep my 8.

Well, maybe that and because the 8s and 9s are better lookin, better driving, more fun and a real evo. This part is just an opinion, however.

evo 9's were make for one year only(2006) so obviously they are the most rare. Evo 8 were only made for 3 years, while the evo X was made for 7 years.

evo X also lost the iconic 4g63 engine.

Weight/styling. If the X was smaller/lighter than the IX, it would be more in demand.
