Mine was leaking from the gasket being bunched up a bit. Flattened out to normal shape and been good since. Thanks to this thread and op for starting.

no, it's because combustion leak testers don't work........as above.

It would be good if they worked 100% all the time every time but they never have done and never will do.

Flipped the gasket upside down and it seemed to fix the problem....
