Evo Auto transport....2017 edition

Can anyone recommend a good transport company? I need to get my car from Cleveland over to a shop in PA for tuning and to get some work done. Was going to drive the car, but I don't think she will make it herself. What's an average rate for a trip of that distance, and better yet, what is a good reliable company to do the transporting? Thanks for any input!

for a 5hr drive, might be cheaper to rent a truck and trailer.

UShip, Montway, Northern Enclosed Carriers took my R32 from VA to MN.

I would also look into Uhaul or enterprise if you can justify the time.

For that short a trip the car moving companies might not be that economical. Rent a truck and trailer?

I rented a U-Haul truck and trailer for a 5 hour trip from St. Louis to Chicago. I believe it was around $350-$400. I don't think a moving company will be able to beat that price.

Just find a buddy with a truck and rent a U-Haul trailer for $70 or whatever it is and call it a day. That's what I did, cost me $200-250 to bring it to and from Michigan - 6 hours or so one way.

I just used Mikhail from Maryal Inc to ship mine from pit. PA to NJ. Was $280. Guy was very professional and delivered on time.
