Hey everyone,

So I have recently have gotten a check engine light and this is the code:

P0243 Turbocharger Wastegate Solenoid A Malfunction

I've tried clearing it, but comes back on. The thing is, that the check engine light will come on and off... Like maybe a week or so it will be on, then just randomly shut off, then come back on within a few days. Need to get my car expected, so does anyone know how to possibly solve this issue? Thanks!

 

Probably a bad connection.

Check the connector for bent,loose,backed out pins.

Might also try replacing the connector.
