Locked inside my Evo, can't get out

So I bought an Evo 6.
After about 10 seconds all the doors lock. They can't be opened from inside and I have to use the key remote to unlock them.

Its really dangerous, if theres a crash of fire nobody can get out.

Any ideas? Its the alarm system doing that or something custom from central locking system?

You can't manually unlock them?

Yes, its probably the alarm, have a look under the dash and you might see the controller under there, disconnect it. Some alarms have the self locking to stop car jacking if you forget to lock it when you get in. See if you can find a manual on the alarm. If it doesn't have an alarm you have electrical issues need fixing

One of my alarms had the "anti-carjacking" feature, also, but it would unlock from the inside, like normal. Sounds like you have a faulty alarm.
