Can not read/write to ecu...not locked

I can not read/write to my ecu. It is not locked I have recently been able to flash it. Is there a fuse or wire that could have blown/come loose that would cause the ecu from being interfaced? It fails after the intial attempt. It is as if there is no response from it. The car runs fine though. Thank you for your help.

Battery might be running low... Give it a chance to charge by taking a decent length drive.

Cheers!

It could be battery voltage. If it's too low, you won't be able to read/write. Hook up a charger or another battery to yours and see what happens.

Good luck!

Thank you for everyones help. I will hook up a charger in the morning. I drove for about 45mins before attempting to interface the ecu. It is an old battery though, I would not be suprised if it is the problem.

Also look above the plug beside the obd2. I tuned a car I had this issue with and the wire was cut. I chased my tail forever lol

Yea I had an issue before where the plastic black casing seperated on the wire where it plugs into the car which made it look like it was connected but it was not. Double check all the simple things.
