It iwas tuned using tephra v7 it could be the fact its detecting knock.... Best thing to is log using evoscan and check if you are getting knock. if you are get it retuned!

 

Okay thanks. I’ll check into it. If the car is getting knock on only launch control do you think any damage has been caused or does it just need re tuned? From what I hear the car can be set up to detect knock even a smaller number. If the scale was 1-10 the car could be tuned to detect knock at say a 1 and could not be dangerous or could be a 10 and be very dangerous. What do you think?

 

You only get a flashing CEL when you have a misfire that puts raw fuel into the catalytic converter, which causes downstream explosions that can destroy the cat. Launch control is a deliberate misfire to put unburnt fuel into the manifold to cause downstream explosions. Makes perfect sense to me.
