Well, achieved my goal for the most part by buying one Evo 9 this year! Already over a month now, and already just finished the most important maintenance and services like timing belts, replacing all fluids and some suspension parts, sorting out some minor electrical stuff, fixing the titanium exhaust and replacing the downpipe, got the perfect set of wheels for it (18x9 Racing Hart CP-S10 repainted grey met), add some carbon skirt extension, install APEXi turbo timer, some Viper alarm and improving the audio system. Now the car is already in tip top condition to be driven daily without any worries and already has the perfect look I want.

Next plans are getting AEM A/F and boost controller all in one unit, and optimize the tuning for hi/low boost setup (maybe targeting 1.7bar for hi and 1.4 for low). Not sure if I'd replace the headers along with Tial/Turbosmart 38mm waste gate, some blow off, intercooler piping, and intake or leave them stock coz I'm not targeting very high power (maybe just around 300whp), at least not for now. I'm also still considering some interior refreshing maybe with some carbon trims for the door handles, power window switches, and the center console. Oh and I also want to replace the hi-beam with Osram Cool Blue and fog light bulbs with Osram Fog Breaker.

Goal was to have an evo. i accomplished goal but engine started knocking 1100 miles after i bought it. So goal for 2020 is to get engine built and put back in.

 

Buying a nice Evo 9 in Canada would be nice!

just got my viii def want to get its old car bugs out even tho it has 32k on it

 

To get my Evo back up and running after 3 years of being down (rod knock/suspected spun rod bearing).

 

Goal would be to buy this Evo ix black barn find that has been sitting for 7 years…. Trying to convince the owner to sell it !!!
