I got my 9 MR tuned at destination performance in Orlando last week, next up for 2022 is new clutch. Any recommendations on clutch replacement? I'm running 361/375 stock turbo with bolt ons

What's the plan for the car? Daily at roughly that power level, an ACT HDSS is tough to beat. Shooting for a turbo upgrade and more power, a twin disc like the Exedy or the new ACT one might be a good choice.

I personally ran the HDSS up to 500whp/400wftlbs and it was great. After a motor build and turbo upgrade, I smoked it at about 600whp/500wftlbs and moved to a Exedy twin and like it a lot as well.

2022 Goals

1. Rebuild the OEM 5 speed to have as a spare.
2. Replace my FP Black with the fastest spooling turbo that will make 500hp on E85 with a 2.3L. (Anybody know if the FP54 GREEN, MHI TF06-18K, or the 71HTA Super Core has ever gotten there? Any other suggestions? Torque welcomed.)

3. Get a set of wheels and upgrade to Ohlins DFVs (probably not gonna happen)
4. Convert my three gauges into a single multigauge. Looking at options such as PLX and Zeitronix for a more subtle look than a three gauge A pillar pod.
5. Get a more stock feeling clutch so that my wife can drive my car too. She hates the ACT 6 puck sprung lol ( I don't blame her).

Get her running again, its been almost a year of me taking too long to get things done and changing my mind on stuff.

New Clutch i think is needed.

Start buying parts for an engine build ( maybe not)

1. Get my car back from Slowmotion with a full tune.
2. Make 1000whp on some sort of dyno.
3. 10.99 pass on street tires.
4. Install driveshaft and driveshaft loop.
5. Get t case upgraded.
6. Get trans upgraded.
7. Get to run test and tune at the shootout.
8. And last but not least and most importantly whoop XrogueXs *** at the shootout with his fp black setup. (Love ya buddy)

Talking Restore an Evo 8 back to stock

Bought a 2005 Evo 8 last week. Plan to restore it back to stock.

It was parked out in the sun for 7 years. The paint is absolutely ruined. Getting that fixed/repainted in November.

How is your engine holding? And what power are you making?

I have had a few setbacks and working out fresh build bugs, but it should finally be running soon.
