Fuel cut??? Boost cut ?? Idk..

So I've been dealing with this problem for 1 month and haven't stepped on the gas because of this issue, when i accelerate in high rpm i get this cut between 5k - 6k around there and then bounces right back up, replaced spark plugs, and ignition coils and wires. Any tips ?? Can't be the tune, when i got it tuned i didnt have this issues. Help?

What size spark plug gap are you running, and how much boost?

I would check the gap and make sure it isn't anything crazy. When I bought my car it had the stock tune, but had insane hesitation/break up from the spark plugs having like a .036 gap. Stock boost levels.

I would also do a boost leak test for sure to eliminate that.

Which spark plugs are they by the way?

Take a datalog through your pull. That'll give a much better idea of what's going on.

Mitsubishi doesn't make or gap spark plugs. Years ago, when I had a DSM, people on the DSM forum were writing that NKG plugs were made and gaped for our cars. Then someone pointed out that the same plug was used in Honda lawnmowers.

Last time I went to buy some BPR7ES, the lady at oreilly thought I was crazy, telling me my car uses iridiums and these plugs are for a lawnmower

If I were you, I would invest in some datalogging tools so you can know what is actually going on. Do you have a wideband o2 installed?

Evoscan and a tactrix cable are your friend.

Just gap it down to like .022 and see if issue is still present, then reassess.
