Has anyone had to replace one? What are the symptoms? How do I narrow it down?

I have to different tunes ATM. I have a speed density running off of AIT, and I also have a fuel temp sensor tune.

symptoms are different on each and lead me to the fuel temp sensor.

on the AIT tune I get a p0182 (fuel temp low)

on the fuel temp tune I get a p0112 (air temperature low) that will not clear while in that tune.

any input would be greatly appreciated

 

From what i've heard, you need to drop the gas tank to replace the fuel temp sensor.

that’s why I don’t want to do it just for fun🤣

trying to make for sure that is the culprit.
