I just bought a 2005 evo 8 rs. The previous owner decided to install a viper 791 alarm system and the alarm works fine, unlocks all the doors, can tell when any door is unlocked makes an alarm noise etc. The only problem is when unlock is pressed, all the doors unlock except the driver’s door. The actuator isnt broken, but the door physically locks itself. When i press lock, All the doors lock but the drivers door unlocks. Im guessing two wires just have to be fixed but i am so confused i searched the forums and couldnt find anything. Please help!!

 

I think your right, its probably just wired up backwards. Doesn't say too much about the installer that they didn't check their work.
