The TRC Evo is actually 7.8:1 . The first time I looked at the timing map I had to step back. They are just numbers, each car likes what it likes. For being tall geared, large turbo and low compression it somehow drives really well.
I stand corrected on the TRC Evo compression and wow that is impressive how well that combo works. I am currently putting together a 9:1 comp 2.0L 12tooth Kiggly Trigger with S3 cams, 67mm turbo, 4.08 FD and on Emtron KV8. Im looking forward to seeing how my combo works out.
