Made a gauge pod

So I was bored out of my mind during this quarantine and did a bunch of things to the car. One of them was installing my oil pressure gauge and finding a place to put it. I never liked a bunch of gauges all over the place so I decided I wanted it somewhere hidden. I chose the ashtray since I can just close the lid if I don’t want to see it. Let me know what you guys think.

Nice mod, do you have bottom pics of the ashtray? Also, wouldn't you want something less important hidden?

Thx...well, I figured when making a pull I won’t be looking at oil pressure. I’d be looking at afr or boost. If I open the ashtray I can see it clearly. I do have pics of the bottom I think. Let me see...

nice job, but I agree with the other poster and have oil psi in a more visible spot.

I hear ya to each their own. For me personally I’d be glancing at afr during a pull if I have to watch any of the gauges. Most of the time if oil pressure drops during a pull it’s too late.
