Leak now gone???

Leak now gone???

Been a while, hope everyone is healthy and well. so, i had a HG leak externally corner nearest intake next to tranny where block meets head. now it isn't. coolant level is fine, never overheated. whats going on? let me know. thanks!

My guess is that it has sealed itself (corrosion due to exposure to air). I would run it until the leak starts again but i say there is a
definite weak point there & it will surface again
I often joke w/my friends when i hear of mechanical things repairing themselves

yup iv seen weird thing like that happen but I would be ready when it surfaces again. New gasket studs some way to check and prepare deck surface. But run it till it leaks again just keep a eye on it.

My Cobalt just did something like this to me. Thought it had a rear main leak and a couple days later, it stopped leaking. Been over a week now and still not leaking. Going to leave it as is until it starts leaking again.
