Evo 8 ignition issues
Hey guys, I have a 2005 evo 8 that is not wanting to start and i'm stumped. My dad and I built the car from block to trans and all, but I am stumped. So last Saturday night I took her out on the base map on aem infinity to put some miles on her so I can get ready to dyno with boostin performance. She started up fine a little grind from starter but started up and ran great for the 20 miles I put on. Got home put her in the shop and did a once over make sure there weren't any coolant leaks etc. Sunday I went to go start her and she cranks but will pop off once or twice when I turn the key off. (theres a brand new crank, cam sensor ,ignition switch, starter, battery in it, replaced the starter today). I pulled the plugs and coils out and tied a wire just below the threads and grounded that to the battery around all the plugs. Turned her over a few times and she would only ark 2 of plugs at the end of the key cycle. Every once and a while it would light all 4 up when cranking but not often. I replaced the starter in hopes to fix this but it didn't. all the fuses checked out, none were blown. I didn't change anything or tinker with anything in the ecu between the 2 nights. What do you guys think it could be? Can provide more info if needed once I see the thread take off.
