Hello, I have an 03 Evo 8. I’ve already had the following rebuilt, transmission, transfer case, clutch and rear differential within the last 6 months. I am still having the whinning noise coming from the rear.
Also using these fluids

Transfer case: Recommend Redline Heavy Shockproof (.7) quarts Transmission: Redline MT-90 (3) quarts Rear Diff: Redline Heavy Shockproof (.7) quarts

what else can I check that can possibly causing the noise.

What type of bushings are you using in the rear poly or stock? Also might be worth a try to switch to diaqueen for transfer and rear end.

 

Driveshaft bits/mounts maybe?

 

What type of tires do you have on it?
