Need help!!

Hello,
So i have an evo 9 with 2.5" apex downpipe, Stm high flow cat, hks hi power catback, unknown FMIC but its bigger than stock, and K&N typhoon intake, idk if it matters but it also has a stage 2 exedy clutch with a light flywheel. Engine itself is untouched, Now what I need help with is that I recently got my car tuned and it was running perfectly fine until a few days ago. I did a few pulls with the car and now the CEL flashes at WOT around 6k rpm. The car doesnt feel its hesitating and my tuner did a few revisions of the tune already and its still showing the flashing cel. i repleaced the plugs with brand oem ones gapped at .022. PLEASE HELP!!!

i assume the tuner is using the tephra mod, and that flash means your knocking.

get a log.and see what you got.

If the tuner is still responsible take it back to him or learn to save a log and send it to him to remote in. In the mean time check it for everything else yourself, boost leak, lose wires etc

that Log shows 4 counts of knock @6500 Rpm and 5 counts of knock at 6600 Rpm. This why your check engine light is flashing. does it do this every pull you make or just sometimes? if its Random I would look for anywhere that something could be rubbing/hitting in the engine bay. I would also look underneath and make sure the exhaust/downpipe isn't hitting the crossmember or anything else as this can cause false knock.

thanks for the advice, so I did check exhaust cause I had it installed and they added the Subaru 2.5” to 3” converter which slightly pushed the downpipe towards something and
Was probably causing the false knock

your map setting are messed up... i cant tell what your boost is.

the only real pull on their is line 378.. which does show concerning knock at line 390.

im assuming you are on pump 93 looking at your timing.

looks lean to me.

I should have boost showing, but it should be 26 psi at 6k and yes 93 octane. The knock hasn’t shown since I removed something from the downpipe. I also found an exhaust pre sensor on that same spot I removed the “converter”.
