Value of a rolling shell in today’s market??(evo 8)
Hello forum members I’m new here and my question is as the title states what would be the market value of a rolling shell?? If anyone can help me out with this I don’t want make a bad purchase and regret it down the road. (Salvage title) it’s an evo 8 missing front seats, front bumper and headlights

Welcome @Eddie4g You note its missing the front seats etc. Is the drivetrain still in there (trans, diff, rear diff etc). We will need more info to give ya an opinion on this
As far as drive train it’s missing transfer case,trans,drive shaft, no front axles. It still holds the rear diff with rear axles, harness is still there as well.I do not know the miles on it.

That helps. Well if the chassis is free of rust & maybe if its been a west coast EvO? Is the chassis straight? If it is straight, I dont know, maybe $3,000-$4000?
People are asking $8-10k for clean rolling shells on FB. There's one in Utah and one in Florida I think right now for $8k & 9k.
I personally wouldn't pay more than like $3k for a salvage title roller and that is only if I had a lot of the parts already to put it back together. By the time you pay the inflated prices for an engine, trans, etc. you'd probably just wish you bought a complete one.
There's still decent deals out there but you have to be local and ready to POUNCE.
