Hello, Does anybody has any comparison between GSC S3 cams and STM 650? I will upgrade my cams and I dont know which one to go with. I have build 2.0L engine with 6266 turbo but my plan is to change turbo to 6466 or 6870 in the future. I have competition 272 cams right now and power is drooping past 7500. Can't decide between gsc s3 or stm 650. Anyone got some experience with any of those cams? Thanks
Thank you so much for specs on s3 cams. Yes I was trying to find some specs on stm cams but they saying it is a secret. I will most likely go with s3 cams. First I was thinking to go with s2 but I think s3 will help me more with what I am trying to achieve.
Wow, good find. They are mild compared to the S3's. There almost like an S2 with a bit lower intake & a bit higher exhaust duration but same lift as the S3's.

S2's below:
The STM 650's are actually very close to the S3. Advertised duration is a bit short, but lift and duration @ 1mm are very close. The S3 does edge them out by a smidgen.
I’m running the s3 with a 62mm turbo fyi. Absolutely love them. Depending on your tune you can have them lope like a Chevy or purr like stock. They drive drive very well on the street.

Great. I think I will order them. What rpms do you change your gears? Some people saying you have to shift at 9-9.5 to see advantage of those cams. My rev limiter is at 9 but like to shift at around 8.0-8.2

My redline is 8000 but I have very tall gears 4.08 final drive. It’s plenty of rpm in my application. Your setup may be different.

Did your 4.08 final driver slower the car down or actually made it faster on that turbo? Sorry for out of topic question but my spare transmission is disassembled and I am considering to go 4.11
Thanks
