Walbro 450 dead ?

So my car sat for a few months with no battery attached and not started, started just before i had it sit. I come to prime the pump today and i hear nothing, i take it out of the hangar and put power to it with my battery and i hear nothing. Do these things just die sometimes ?

Old fuel will varnish the pump up. You can smack them with power hooked up and free it up. Might last a month might last a lifetime.

Out of curiosity, do you know how many amps it was pulling on your bench?

Ran it straight to my battery, saw about 12.9 volts.

Well now i am stumped, got a whole new setup from Bulletproof racing and wired everything and turn the key to prime and nothing. Anything i can check, going to check relay and then if power is reaching the fuel pump housing.

So i did some more reading and just got pump primed, changed relays on drivers side and then tried to start car and voila. More than likely it was the starting car that primed it. Dumb on me but i learned some stuff on how our fuel system works.
