Evo 8 incorrect turn signal?

Howdy, My concern is that the parking light is my turn signal, and not the one on the bottom. When I use my hazards the original turn signal bulbs operate, yet when I use the turn signals separately the parking lights operate and the turn signals don’t. Does anyone have some advice on what to look for or how to proceed to fixing the turn signal?

Ive had the car for liitle while now, I haven’t modified or messed with the headlight assemblies myself. It’s been like this since I bought it. Just haven’t gotten to it Thanks.
(I don’t have much experience with evom, I have searched this topic with no results. So dont drag me too hard.)

Not too sure what the issue is for your turn signals.
Perhaps this may be an opportunity to address the problem with a mod: How to: DIY Signal Switchback and DRL to include optional fender light (with photos)

Hope to come to a resolution.
