Evo IV MAF Replacement (No SD)
I’m currently running an Evo IV with an Evo 5 ECU with Stock Evo IV MAF (478).
Car was running, but would struggle at 2000/3000 rpm. Did a diagnosis, the issue was the MAF. Got it cleaned (MAF cleaner) but now the car wont start.
So my questions:
1. Should i be using an Evo 5/6 MAF (787), given that i’m using E5 ecu? Should MAF always match ECU? Or should i look for E4 MAF (478)?
2. Evo IV OEM MAF are quite rare/expensive, any alternative? Lancer? Pajero? Outlander?
