Hey guys I am in the process of re building my t case new ring and pinion and while I am there I am thinking to upgrade front differential with wavetrac. How much better and stronger is wavetrac vs stock evo 9 front differential. Car has 750whp at the moment and it is used mostly on the street. Yes I do launch the car but has never had problems with oem front differential and does not have any cracks. It was just magnaflux for cracks. Is it worth to upgrade or oem is just fine? Thanks!

 

Look like oem unit doesn't like hard launches and I do like hard launches so I ordered Wavetrac for my t case. Thanks for help guys lol

 

You will be happier with the wavetrac.

 

Wavetrac has a reputation of being much stronger. At those power levels I'd get the Wavetrac for the extra insurance.

 

OEM is a time bomb. The wavetrac is solid.
