Where to buy this part

I have a po0011. I change the oil and filter. I just got tuned and the mivec is working correctly. I was told to clean the screen on the vvt but if I'm going to take it out I would like to just replace it.

The aftermarket is under $100 but the dealer is over $400. Not sure what the difference is.

¿??????????????

Is there a difference between factory and aftermarket vvt as far as quality?

That's hard to quantify. what matters is to try it out cheaply, you can decide to keep it or not. see if it solves your issue.
Personally, maybe 90% chance OEM equivalent parts work (especially shared parts).
Maybe 75% if shipped directly from China

Good point. Are there any better brands for aftermarket sensor or brands to stay away from?

Honestly I've tried all sorts and can't tell you what to stay away from. maybe Crank sensors need to be genuine parts or generally anything hard to install, like a clutch release bearing. Solenoids I think aren't precision parts. I've tried the cheapest wheel bearings and it can take racing just as well I think its worth a try
