Replacement Alternator

I’ve been having problems with replacement alternators for my Evo 8. The 2 units I’ve bought for replacement do not fit due to the bolt holes being (6mm) farther apart than the alternator that came out of the car.

Is the alternator that I pulled out of the car possibly an eclipse alternator?? I cannot get the new units to fit because of the difference in bolt hole locations. They all look identical - pulley, plug, etc is all the same. The replacement Evo alternators I’ve ordered are just slightly bigger in frame than the alternator that came out of the car. My engine is a 4G63 (not a 4g64), from my research it looks like the eclipse used a similar alternator. Can anyone confirm? Any other ideas? If it was an eclipse alternator I think I would just need to get Evo 8 alternator brackets to get the OEM Evo alternator to fit.

Alternator that came out of my Evo 8

Used OEM

Bolt hole to pulley size on new STM alternator (confirmed it’s the same as OEM).

Distance to where the bolt hole from the OEM unit should be. This alternator has a shorten distance than OEM

The distance from pulley to bolt hole on the Alternator that came out of my Evo 8. Is this an Eclipse alternator or something??
