BTW I'd bet that the solution to your hot-start issue will be somewhere on this forum I won't pretend that I'm an expert and hazard a guess, though.

You guys really seemed to enjoy driving the car! Quite the history with that machine too. What are the details on the turbo? I always wanted to get a drive in a 2.3/2.4 4g63 to see what the added torque is like.

Seems like it needs a retune for the throttle tip-in issue to solve for the drivability problem possibly?

 

Hi! and thanks for watching! It's running an FP Red turbo with approx. 27lbs of boost and the torque on-boost is...incredible. I've not driven a 2.0 (its Nick's car, Joe here typing) so don't really have a point of comparison on that. And yes it needs some tinkering for that hot start issue.

The hot start issue probably could be solved with information from this forum or the help of the guru's here.

 

For me it's not a hot start issue, it's a high tech antitheft device. I can pick up some tacos knowing it ain't going nowhere.
