Function of black wire in door sill harness

Hi y'all.

Does anybody know what the function of the black wire is in the driver side door sill harness? (LHD) Mine was tapped into a white wire with red stripe on the front harness.

Runs to rear of vehicle. I'll try and find it on the circuit diagram: https://evoscan.com/wp-content/uploa...000300-80B.pdf

Thanks. I just want to know its function. The harness isn't touched at the rear but this black wire is tapped into a white wire w/red stripe at the front. I'm trying to figure out if this was part of a previously removed aftermarket alarm setup or reverse camera.

I traced the wire to a ground at the base of the b pillar, behind the seat belt. Car previously had an aftermarket alarm system installed. Regrounded the wire.

Thanks for sharing. I actually need this PDF right now. I also wanted to add that yesterday my PDFs started displaying completely incorrectly, and I’m not sure what the problem was. So I had to convert them to a different format. I used PDF Guru from the article https://euroweeklynews.com/2024/02/2...tal-documents/ a colleague at work recommended, since this tool supports a wide range of formats. Maybe someone else has had a similar problem, but this was the first time I’ve encountered it.
