Evo 8 sputtering , code p0105 & P0100
it is running Speed density . it idles fine but sputters really bad when giving it gas . i have searched around and found no resolution with this issue. does anyone know what could be causing this issue? issue started after installing skunk 2 Intake & tb
Sounds like the usual Omni 4 bar map sensor failure. Those codes are for map malfunction. If you're running the omni sensor I highly recommend swapping to an oem evo x map and updating the tune to run it properly.
Edit: just looked a bit at the evo X sensor, that seems like a good idea if you are able to, sadly its still only a 3 bar sensor so a lot of us don't have that option.

Good call. Whats the deal with the evo X map sensor? I haven't heard of doing that instead of the omni?

Yeah as long as you're at 30psi or less, the evo x map is the most reliable option and does not require mounting and wire harness adapters like the aem style map sensors. Anything over 30psi stick to aem, rife etc sensors. Omni does not seem interested at all in fixing their qc issues, they just pass out free replacements like candy on halloween
Theres a write up in here: Evo X Map ECU scaling explaining how to set up the ecu for the evo x map. Its a gold mine of info.
