I've had an odd problem creep up on me, when I fill my tank fuel will leak up through the pins for the connector on the hanger and short out causing a non running condition. It didn't do this before... I replaced the pump hanger/filter with a new oe unit and it happened again. I do wonder if it's related to another issue I have on track when the tank is full and fuel will leak from the cap on hard left handers.
How is pressure equalized in the fuel tank? I've never removed the cap and heard any pressure release but I don't want to start digging around the gas tank area at random as everything seems like it's begging for an excuse to strip/snap/break...
