Evo 9 Newbie
Evo 9 Newbie
Hi everyone new here,
I'm interested in getting an evo 9 as an upgrade from my 1999 honda civic 1.4 as its **** itself. I want something fun that I can enjoy but push every so often, and for me the evo 9 fits that bill (please let me know otherwise).
I've been in talks with some import companies as I feel importing from japan is going to be the best way to get a relatively stock and clean one but they are estimating a lot of money for it which I'm fine paying but I have never driven one.
If anyone can give me some guidance or info on what to look for etc and someone potentially be willing to let me either be a passenger in their evo for a test drive or potentially let me drive it I would greatly appreciate it.
Many Thanks in advance,
Ben

Welcome to the forums. I don’t think you can import an evolution 9 for a few years. I believe it must be 25 years old?
there are quite a few clean evolution 9s that sell on bringatrailer.com
lots of pictures and information in those auctions. You can search there to get an idea what quality and prices are in the USA market.
hope this helps you.

Where are you? Vancouver BC I'll take you for a rip, farther out, welll...
As to what to look for? At this point not having the funds to maintain your increasingly expensive GOAT car is a big thing.
