start car, idle engine. clutch in (mechanically disconnects engine power from the rest of the car), put in first gear(or reverse), release the clutch pedal slowly until the car wants to move forward. clutch in again and repeat. thats pedal action you need to time with little gas pedal input so the engine has the right momentum to support the momentum of the car(car's rolling weight) . if you want to slow down just press clutch and brake at the same time. lets say for now,1st gear is only for driving from a full stop. anything crawling speed is 2nd gear. do a few rounds of that. then try 1st 2nd 3rd gear and so on

Watch some youtube videos, pay attention and be patient with yourself. Practice makes perfect.

The best way is to just do it. On your own no co pilots pick a clear area and just drive. Not on a car you care anything about. I remember my first time. stalling, grinding, stalling again and again and again now its second nature. Don't practice on a car you care anything about lol. I also have to mention im surprised I never hear this. Manual isn't manual, I remember how different jumping in a gtr was from a regular commuter car manual. It feels much different on a performance car, especially when the clutch has been upgraded.
