Anyone in Canada order from USA since tariffs?

This is ridiculous. No clarity from this dumb liberal dictatorship on how these 25% counter tariff's will work. Has anyone in Canada ordered any parts for our cars from the USA yet and have you been hit with the tariff? Im hearing the CBSA just went rogue and decided to make their own rules and taxing people on items that are not even on the list provided on the government of Canada website. I went through the list and car parts don’t seem to be anywhere on there except tires. I am about to make a pretty large order from some US vendors and don’t want to be robbed when it passes through customs. Seriously hope this 51st state becomes reality so we can be saved from this joke of an over regulated government. Don’t mean to get political but this is what the reality is.

Im not talking about tariffs on Canada from the USA, i mean the retaliatory tariffs against the US from Canada's side.

Oooooohhhhhhhh my bad on that. Being half Canadian myself I get it from both sides so I get it. I think things will calm down soon. Prime Minister will get his panties out of his wad and come to understand why Trump is doing things the way they are and we can all hug and be friends again.

As per the CBSA website, I believe the tariffs apply to certain items that originated in USA only. I heard that both the CBP and CBSA are confused as on what to do.

Don’t want to derail the topic but, I wouldn’t blame Canada’s response when Trump broke the CUSMA agreement which he wrote himself as well as threatening to annex Canada.

It's all very wacky, my answer? You want us to be 51st(it would break down to 10)? Healthcare for all, including head holes. Do that we're in.

They just added more items, still cant see car parts on there but you can technically tariff some parts based on their materials..so confusing. I don't fully blame Canada I just don't see the strength or logic in a knee jerk reaction to Trumps moves. It seems like they're applying these tariff's just to be like Ha gotya back!...when really they haven't accepted that the USA is a behemoth of a country. If they want to completely collapse us we are done. They are the biggest economic/military force in the world.

Yea the healthcare is about the only thing we have, I didn't dislike Canada 10-15 years ago but I cant even recognize what this country is anymore. It lost its purpose and its sovereignty a long time ago. Like they're just adding hate speech laws and gun bans that aren't even voted in, raising taxes into infinity. Now we have a new prime minister that wasn't even elected by anyone. The US would be doing us a favor by liberating this place.

also what does this mean? Does this mean things that were made in the USA or shipped out of the USA. Say I buy a Mitsubishi oem part from a US vendor. That was made in Japan so didn’t originate from the USA. So tarriffs shouldn’t apply?
