Fuel Leak and Fuel Feed Line Impossible to remove

Hello,
Earlier I posted about a fuel leak I had I found that it the gas was spraying out of the end of the fuel feed line after I knocked it while in the engine bay. I’ve been trying to remove the fuel feed line but it seems impossible to wrench off even with a line wrench and this seems to be a common issue. Do ya’ll think it would be ok to slap on some kind of sealant like jbweld (im not sure what would work best) or could I weld the line? I saw others had issues with the fuel feed line and did some kind of hard line bypass but I’m not really sure how to do that. Thanks

Don't screw around with something half-assed like JB Weld when dealing with a high pressure fuel system. If that leaks while you're driving, and sprays fuel all over the engine, you'll likely have a fire and burn the car to the ground.

When I replaced this section of feed line years back, I cut the rubber line as close to the metal hard line as I could. Then, I held the hex of the hard line with a line wrench and used an impact gun with a deep well socket on what was left of the (now cut) feed line.

Thanks so much, I ended up soaking in 50/50 acetone ATF and doing what you said and it came off super easy!

Btw does anyone know the torque specs for the hard line to fuel feed line and feed line to rail? I was having trouble finding it online.

I’ve never torque specd anything in my life except when engine building never had issues.
