Hi! I have recently removed my radio in my Evo IX-MR. I want to remove the antennae that is now useless. I have the OEM vortex generator, and would like to put a 'plug', in that mounting hole for the antennae. I'd appreciate any help! Thank You!

Thanks, but I have no access to that. Decades ago, I saw something like a rubber 'plug' someone used. I'd like to use something like that.

I would just run a cheap stubby. I wouldn't want to mess with the hole and risk water leakage.

 

This is the way. 100% not worth risking a leak or something when you can get a stubby one for so cheap.

Thank you. It's just a screw in port. Don't think it can leak into anything. I have an OEM/JDM shorter antennae mounted there for decades, but now that the OEM stereo is gone, I just wanted to 'plug' it up. Back in the day, some owners used a rubber 'plug'. I appreciate your suggestion.
