Yes, reset your ecu anyway. Especially if you are not sure if it was done during installation.

I'd bet that the feeling you get in the upper rpms has more to do with the hot weather. If that feeling bothers you, send your ecu off for a reflash/retune. I have a Dynoflashed ecu right now, and I can personally say that it really kicks up the top end power a lot. But there are other tuners that offer this service also. Works and Vishnu are two others that come off the top of my head.

Good luck! Glad your car is fixed!

Most users feel a powerloss with a new intake because of the ecu pulling timing....or running lean or rich?

I just put a drop in K&N filter and works great stock...With stock airbox...stock is cold air

Anyways With dynoflash all my mods are working together and makes awesome power...spend $200 bucks and get the mail in flash from dynoflash, trust me it will run much better and the car will be tuned to your intake...

I have the same problem after installing my AEM intake, the turbo spools faster but it seems it lost that top end kick. i'm willing to sacrifice a lil top end for the sound the intake makes i guess i'm going to get my ecu flashed and tuned on the dyno when i get extra cash. some people say that you lose a little torque but gain a few ponies with the AEM SRI. do you also get a few idling issues like when your driving? then when you go at a full stop your car seems like its going to turn off then you have to pump the accelerator to idle correctly. this seldom happens but it did die on me a couple of times when i was pulling up my driveway. so far i'm happy with my AEM intake no matter what other people say to leave it stock.. it just needs to be tuned to the liking of the installed intake then it won't have them minor issues i guess.
