Evo LSD Finally done...

Hey guys,

We just completed our lsd for the evo. We put it in ron's car for the event last weekend. He was pulling consistant 1.6 60' times from his old best of 1.77.. No more wheel hop. The lsd is working beyond our expectations... Pricing is 300 , and yes we have them in stock. This piece can be put in on the car ..

In your opinion what would be a reasonable price for a shop to install this???

Does this have any effect on the ABS system?

I think this is like one of the Price Is Right games where you've got to figure out where to put the missing number in the actual price of the LSD. I'm guessing the number "1" is missing. Can you guess where it goes to find the actual retail price?

There is no way at that price that this is a quality piece. It is either a phantom diff or an error in the quote.
Cheers,

Even with the modifications I have to my car currently I have a bit of a wheelspin issue (front right tire) so I can see its value. I don't know that it would add "one more moving part" only because its replacing/supplimenting several moving parts (an open diff with spider gears) I can only assume that this particular LSD type is the one that fits "into" the current open diff.

before i got the lsd i would launch my car and it would pull hard to the right and wheel hop bad which would cause me to let off the gas.now with the lsd it pulls straight and the wheel hop is gone and i can stay on the gas, thanks again guys, ron

Where did you go Mark? This is too good to be true unless it's one of the cheesy Phantom type spring do-hickies. In which case it would be "OK" for drag racing and horrible for track and street based on experience with the Honda camp.
