You could always try a Prius. It is under $20000, gets 60 MPG and I think you get a tax write off for it. I think the technology is kind of cool too.

Hell yea, you got it right brother. Toyota Prius is the way to go if you are looking for a daily driver. I would diffinitely get one. Probably a used one when I get out of college. As for the evo fuel mileage, I think it's not that bad. I stay off boost for daily driving. It's no honda civic in the fuel effeicency department, but that's what you get for driving a high performance car. The price is well worth it. I cant stand driving anything else.

Now there's a choice. Scion would be perfect. Get the Ba or that boxy looking one. Then you could haul parts for evo and carry books and sort...

heck yeah maximas are great cars...almost as bulletproof as hondas and twice as luxurious.... less cabin noise, good low end torque, good gas milage.. i love it....
