I think wheel locks are a waste of $$ ... anyone can buy a universal tapered wheel lock remover for under $10, guess it adds a few seconds to the time it takes an ******* to steal your wheels.
I also traded a Spec V for my Evo. The fact that your tires won't break loose when you take off hard is prob the first thing you noticed! The Spec V would melt the tires off the line & torque steer was always an issue (plus 2nd & 3rd gear scratches were impressive). The Evo's powerband is narrow. 3500-7000 in 1st is like 2 seconds, then shift, 3500-7000 then shift again. It's like whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh...100 mph. The Evo is definately in a different league, but takes more skill to coral. Have fun!
