Cut the Evo's weight by 80 pounds - free!
and from running with only about 1/4 tank of gas.
you do know that 1/4 tank indicated on your instrument panel means you have around 6.5 gallons of gas, right? You have a 4 gallon reserve on your car for things like that. So if you're low on gas your car wont blow up from lack of gas. Besides, you have the mas air sensors to predict low incoming fuel so it'll adjust or shut down the motor accordingly.
you're running rich anyway, it may do some good. lol.

I've done all of the work myself, including initial installation, later adjustment of the ride height, and adjusting the alignment. If you do the install yourself, figure on at least 4 hours work, assuming you have the right tools. Impact tools help a lot, but it can be done without them.
If you want, FT can set you up with an installer and with corner weighting, and I guarantee you'll pay less than you would taking it to your local performance shop.
