Could not pull away from a WS-6 Trans Am last night, I had half my fender in front until I shutdown @ 160, but all I have is a 3" turbo back and a MBC. Darn it. Any sponsers for the Utec or the AEM EMS I could use the extra 60-65 @whp.....

 

evo could only go upto 160 before you blow it up or melt something.

WS 6 has the corvette engine in it, I believe. Which means, 170 easy.

I (tried) to race a z06 once on 75north. I got served. I was doing 130 while that vettes just cruising pass me from 2 cars behind me doing at least 170 and it kept on going with his AC on and his wife sitting next to him.

Doh!.

Then again, that was when I had my prelude.

it will really open up the top end

 

I am in atlanta as well, if you get cams, gears, turbo back, and a good tune you will pull on the z06 upto about 120 when we have to goto 5th.

 

At about 120 mph in 5th gear feels almost like 3rd gear to me when I was stock .

 

When you go past 100 mph you gotta consider the aerodynamics.

 

Even then with the aerodynamics, more power = more pull simple as that, all I was saying!!! Talk to turbotrix and there 10.1 at 143mph evo
