Angry my evo has been ruined

----------------Long story but I had to let it out--------
I'm 17, just got my evo on thursday and had an awesome day. I was driving the evo for the first time since it was parked in the garage on thursday. It was really fun listening to the turbo spool. This car hauls *** from 3,000 rpm on. Then few hours later my friends come over to check my car out..............
One of my best friends ask to let him start the car so I let him. Then BOOM car stalls because I leave it in first gear when its parked. Car slams into wall and bounces back. Behind the wall is the bathroom to the apartment. The toilet broke into 2 parts, part of the wall has been ruined, and water flooded all over the floor. Right now my dad cant see any damage to the car but its dark so we will have to wait til tomorrow. There is no scratch on the front of the car but the main frame will probably be a little dented I feel like a useless piece of sht now, letting my friend wreck my evo that my parents worked very hard to buy me. Man if anything happens to my car, I don't know how much more worse I can feel. I never felt this bad in my entire life. From this lesson I learned that..... NEVER LET ANYBODY TOUCH YOUR DAMN CAR OR YOU'RE GONNA REGRET IT. I don't know what to do if my baby is ruined tomorrow.

That has got to be the ****tiest new car situation I've ever heard. I'm 19 and the EVO's my first true "love" as a car enthusiast so i can def feel your pain. Hopefully everything works out ok for you. Also, did your friend offer to pitch in to help fix the damage?

actually you should never let an unexperienced driver touch your car. if your friend knew how to drive a 5sp, he would have checked to see if it was in N b4 letting go of the clutch. oh yeah bummer about the crash.

Couldn't have gone more than 5mph unless your friend gas it. The frame won't be damaged, maybe just the front bumper might be out of place but easily fixed.

But it's good to see another SF Evo owner here.

Don't feel too bad! Stupid things like this happend when you are young, its part of growing up. The good thing is nobody got hurt. I know its really painful at this moment. But years later, it will become "fun" memory. Whenever I meet my old time friends now, we just talk about all the dumba$$ stuffs we did with our car when we were 16, 17. And we laugh so hard, we have to wipe tears off our face.

Thanks for all your support guys.
Well the house is my dads so the only thing I'm worrying is my baby. There is no scratch in the front so i suppose there is not any major damage. But I know I will not be able to sleep tonight.

What part of Sf do you live in. I've seen a red one parked near 30th ave or so.
Maybe we can meet up and drive our evo sometime if my baby is fine.

Hey,

I am at 17th ave. Sunset with a blue Evo. I'm usually parked at Stonestown movie theatre where I manage. Drop by anytime when you see my car.
I know two other guys who drive a black Evo, George and Mark.

If the house is your Dad's make sure you work< to pay for the repairs for the damages that your carelessness has caused him. That's the least you can do.
