They could never steal my car.

Smartest and cheapest investment is starter kill. Get like 3 of those and have it in combination.

They will never be able to find the combo for starter kill and they could never able to start the car.

I think alarms are overrated now these days. Noone pays attention to it anyway.

Talking

kill switches are too easy to bypass if you have a minute or two. I have ripped my car apart and realized how easy it is to steal an evo Its easy to steal any car once you know that car though. I like the Secret Service armored car way electric door handles and mace if you get too close to the car

I don't think you understand what I'm saying.

You have two kill switch out in the open, (one 'on', one 'off') and you have one more kill switch hidden (on).

There is noway that thieve is going to sit there for 10, 20, 30 minutes to figure out how to turn the car on or try to bypass all 3 kill switches that's not link to each other.

Don't ever say never if somebody wants something that is yours bad enough they will get it. On the show they were saying that they are using this tactic more to steal things inside your car(cd's, stereos,laptops,etc..) than the actual car.

I understand. It doesnt matter where you put it. All you have to do is goto the source and bypass the extra wires and problem solved...

that means you have to pop the hood and undo and reconnect the battery, then go bypass two ignition kills and one straight to battery starter kill (battery kill).

There is no way anyone could start your car. Trust me, I had a guy (my student counciler on his Tahoe) and a pro thieve couldn't start it (it was done through the shop who installed it).

You could just hook it up to a tow truck and say it is a repo when people look at you towing it away with the tires screaming or put it on a roll back and not draw much attention. Then take it to garage and take their sweet *** time getting it to start or strip it. Or they could just wait for you to come out and take your car at gun point. If you are willing to commit grand theft auto whats holding someone at gun point. Like I said if someone really wants it they will get it.

Having said that lets not turn this into the "ways to steal a car thread". I just wanted people to know that there is a way to defeat the key fob and some scumbags will use it to steal from you.

Or they could just break into your house, kill you and take the key. Yeh, there are ways to do everything, but how stupid a person have to be to do something for a $30,000 car?

If you're talking about like CL 600 or ferrari, I would understand, but what sorta dumbass goes through all that trouble for something so cheap?

you guys worry too much.

WE DON"T DRIVE A SHELBY GT500! It's A MITSUBISHI EVOLUTION!

NOT PORCHE 911 TURBO or ENZO FERRARI!

get over yourselves.

people who steal these cars are people who's looking for a quick joyride, like those california kids who steals Integras.

No, I don't worry too much as a friend of mine has been carjacked for a 4 year old crappy dodge avenger. So, if they would do that for an $8,000 car I'm sure some idiot would consider it for a $30,000 car.
No, I don't think you stand a good chance at being robbed at gun piont but, I was trying to prove a piont that no car is unstealable as you stated your's is. They also said the titanic was unsinkable and I think we all know how that story ends. Now lets drop this as I said before, we are getting off topic and I don't want this to become a pissing match. I just wanted to put some info out there for people on this board.
