i drove 60 miles just to get a black one!!!

it is the hardest to keep clean, but the best looking when clean... IMO

good luck, any color is a good choice if you're buying an evo

Everyone who owns a black EVO (including myself) will tell you that black looks best on this car, but you have to decide what you can live with. I know there are a lot of ppl on this forum who are as **** or more so than me who keep their car clean. My old car was black and when I went to the dealership I had made up my mind that I would get a silver EVO, but ended up getting black instead.

I would suggest that if the dealership has both the colors, have them park both cars side by side and then decide. I did exactly the same and I have no regrets about going with black...even though it's a b*tch to keep clean.

The silver looks good to but when I saw both colors, the black from the front looked a 100% meaner. I think the silver looks better from the back.

Anyway a few points u should consider

1. You will be able to see the lines/curves easier on a lighter color. Don't listen to ppl who say that u can't see the lines on the black...u can, but lets say it's easier to see on the silver
2. If you live in an area like say NYC where the traffic is just bad and the car gets scratched easily then go with a lighter color
3. Are you willing to wash the car once a week.
4. You can see the swirls more on a dark color.

I knew of all this and that's why I was so intent on silver but when I saw the black, I just couldn't resist. ...a clean black car just looks beautiful (esp EVO)

Good Luck!!!

Black is the best color! white was my second choice, but silver is cool too.

I don't regret it at all. I have some chips but I still love the color. Get's dirty really easily though.

I have a tarmac black and I regret it. I wish I would of gotten the weightless white or the rally red. But i still love the black alot, its just too much work to keep clean and you see nothing but swirls in the sun light.

I have yet to see a black evo detailed with the right stuff, but once I get mine and put on 3+ coats of zaino and then cover it with P21S, people better ewar eye protection if my car will be in the sunlight . Black is the best evo color IMO.
