Tarmac Black
anyone that has bought a Tarmac Black evo ever regret getting it because of the color?
I am looking to get silver or black since there isn't a single dealer in my state that has one and so im either going with silver or black
is it really that hard to keep the black clean?..ide assume the brake dust ont he wheels will match the paint ..lol

I've got a black OZ, which is the same color as Tarmac Black. It's a great color and a nice polish/wax and some sunlight really brings out the blue and purple flecks for a great shine and a deep color. Can't be beat. If you don't wash/wax regularly, it may look a little blah, but at the same time, so will every other color when not taken care of, and even often when it is. Black is definitely worth it.

My original evo was red and it was just as hard to keep looking good because of the lack of clear coat. So, atleast the black has clear coat going for it. I'm really **** about my car so, I have to wash it about twice a week. But I'm that way with any color car so I guess it wouldn't matter. I personally don't think anything looks better than a clean black car so, it's worth it to me.

do u guys know if it would have to pasxs certain emmission test or not if i bring it from a different state such as Nevada or Arizona?
I always wanted the black evo but the black one they had at the dealer been sitting outside and it had a bunch of swirls on it. So I choose the white one on the show room floor and I just love white now, all my future cars will be white. I think white/black are the hardest to maintain and keep clean.
A lot of the problems with swirls can be taken care of by using a high-quality wax. Not sure what everyone who's having problems is using, but I started using Maguiar's Three-Stage. Takes an assload of time to do, but to me it's just more quality time with my evo. And the results are great. Black is definitely worth the extra effort!
