The trick is..don't park far away..that makes you a target.
Park close to the more expensive cars...most likely, there just as **** about their car as you are..then your safe.
Don't park next to old people. A small ding to most of them is no big deal...but to us it's the end of the world

Really sorry to hear that deceit. I know the monmouth mall pretty well... you've helped me confirm to NEVER park at a mall. Good luck and post how things worked out.

And to the f'er that did this?... may you rot in hell you chicken s...
I see you have a silver evo as well. From around here? I've seen a few silver's around this area, might've been you.

But yes, Monmouth Mall is absolute garbage. Way to go kiddies.

Pics will be up tonight

This is also a tradeoff as our cars generally attract more attention than the average BMW/Lexus/etc. Not only that, but you're still parked around other cars and who knows if they leave 20 seconds after you park with some jealous riceburner pulling up next to you.

Honestly, I've found parking a pretty good far away works the best. I'm not talking about parking EONS away from anything, but a pretty good distance away.

It's a damn shame that people have to plot different ways in keeping their car safe when it's parked.

One pointer, if you park out in a parking lot away from others, park in one spot, not across two or three. That pisses people off to no end and they will come up and park 1 inch away from your drivers door with their passenger door. A lot of people at malls and restaraunts will acutally box in a car parked like this on purpose, or call the cops. The mall by my house actually tows people for this offense. My friend with a wrx wagon parked in an empty parking lot and got rammed by another car after he went into the store. Funny part was the guy actually came in the store and found him to tell him about it.

I'm from Old Bridge, but my wife teaches in that area. I'm silver, stock looking with low-pro wing and a baby seat in the back (and dingless thus far)

I'm always **** about parking... there are 266 parking spaces here at my job. And i will only park in 2 of them. They are safe from trees, other cars (mostly) and careless landscapers. Everyone knows where "the evo" parks.. most of the time those spots are open.

Don't worry man.. you'll get it fixed.. it'll look as good as new!

Lol, it happens to the best of us ...My Mcoupe got keyed...Someone walked into my garage, keyed the ever living poop out of my hood... Death to car keyers.

9 times out of 10, its not the guys driving the bmw's / lexus's / merc's that key cars... Its the jealous riceburners or mustang drivers who either cant afford a evo, or got their *** handed to one and just hate them all...

Another parking pointer is to try to avoid parking next to coupes or other cars w/ long doors. That’ll lessen your chances of getting dinged if you must park in tight spots.
