Yet more Evo VIII info, another blurb from autoweek.
From today's Autoweek update. Half the places say 280HP+ and the other half have a very specific power rating of 265HP... I'm betting on 265... but I have nothing to base that on.
Evo VIII
The Evo VIII, with a turbo four making 265 horsepower, plus awd and Brembo brakes, debuts at the Los Angeles auto show in January. Our Evo will have a reworked hood scoop and ground effects not found on the Evo VII (shown) sold in other parts of the world. The rally-bred VIII, Mitsu's answer to Subaru's WRX, will be built on the Lancer platform.
HIGHLIGHTS: New model
BASE PRICE (INCLUDING DEST.): under $30,000
WHAT'S NEXT: First year of new model
