No you didnt missread it...Also It wouldnt be the first time Chrystler and Mitsu worked together....

Remember the old sytle eclipse RS's? Those engines were chrystler engines... The GST engines were the Mitsu engines... Performance I doubt will be as good.

If you think about it, an SRT-4 IMHO is what the 3rd Gen eclipse should have been.

Well I got it from H-I.com where I post regularly...he said this.

I can direct yall to the thread on srtforums.com

We have several insiders with DCX and the guy that posted it is the most reputable guy on srtforums.com. He is also president of the SRT owners club.

Chrysler and Mits have been together for a while. Diamler Chrysler owns like 38% of Mits America and the original 4G63 engine was a joint effort between Chrysler and Mits. Where do you think the DSM came from ? Diamond(Chrysler) Star(Mits) Motors !! Why do you think the Talon and the Eclipse look the same and have the same engine ? Why do you think the Avenger looks like a 3000GT ?

Doubtful.

What's Dodge's market penetration in Europe, Japan, and Australia? The Evolution is sold worldwide, whereas I believe Dodge is simply North America. Could be wrong though, but I'm having a hell of a time trying to find a Dodge site for any other country aside from large South American companies (Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Mexico).

I guess it's happened before. The GTO (3000GT) made it here with the American "Stealth", but I'm still very doubtful.

Dodges are sold around the world under the chrysler name. There isnt a dodge in Canada even, but they sell a Chrysler Neon there, same with Europe.

The next platform for the neon has been rumored to be shared with the lancer for several years now. That means that the performance model on the same platform would also be shared. :P
