anyone offroad it?

does anyone here drive their evo in the dirt?

I bought my evo for a fun daily driver. i have a truck that i take to mash in the desert and i promised myself i'd keep the evo on the street...but i got tempted by a dirt lot yesterday.

does anyone know of any good rally type courses in socal to go play in? also what kind of tires do you run?

there is a SCCA type rally group up in norcal.... not sure if they have a partner in socal... I wouldn't take the evo out in the dirt the car is configured for street as it sits... rally cars of course have significant mods done to the suspension and undercarriage

gravel mountain

While not technically off road, I've taken an evo on gravel/dirt roads in appalachia. It eats cutbacks like nobody's business. It's amazing how easy it is to do a hill climb, with hard corners, on gravel, at 60+ mph.

Watch out for any big rocks if you don't have a skidpad.

Here's a shot of my truck.

I obviously can't do that in the evo. The place where I went was bumpier than I expected and for the first time in a long time, I was worried about bottoming out or high centering. I'd love to take it out on some dirt twisties though.

It Rocks On Gravel, Dirt, Grass, Tarmac and Ashpalt, even with 4 people aboard! Lets see any other super car try to keep up with that!

"Rocks on Gravel".. Something about that is just funny..

What's up Caleb? It's actually Kory, but I'll let it slide, heh.

Are you coming out to the July 10-11 NASA event at MSR, might have a chance to off-road it there, heh.
