My paint is fine and I have had my car for over a year. I keep it waxed and washed. "If" I had major paint issues, I would get the car redone in the same color to keep my car mature looking.

. I was thinking on the same line of thought. If you guys want a riced out EVO, go ahead and paint it green!!! ewwwww.... I see some purple, green, and ****ed up hondas around here. It doesnt look right at all. Please stay away from those colors. They might look good on show cars, but if you get me right, show car only! And the EVO is not show cars guys. I dont bring my car to the track ever, maybe in the future, but I drive the EVO with a true car enthusiast attitude. I'm going for the more plane color. Just got sick of my Red and it has rock chips, key cheaps, and all kinda crap on it. On top of that is
crappy paint job! Im going for the "virgin color": white!!! Ohh, the pearl white on the 350Z is yucky. I have a pearl white Z. I would rather it be plane white like the s2k or the sti white.
You guys are comical. DONT paint your EVO a bright color. blah blah blah blah blah blah. OMG you guys make it sound like if you paint your car Orange or Green etc then it's rice. If you wanna go back to the days of Old Fashioned Muscle alot of Dodge/Plymoth cars in the 60's - 70's were "RICE" then as were the mustangs and camaros. It has nothing to do with rice it's about personal preference. If you dont like it so be it, but who are you to call someone a ricer because they elect to change the paint on the car to a brighter color. I guess I am not a "real" enthusiast if I paint my car...

i think a pearl white like the RSX would be nice, i also like turbo trixs dark orange but seeing more than one of those would be
the one color i do think would be unique though would be the old M3 purple
Uh. What's to say you can't have a show quality Evo?
Furthermore...most of the colors that have been pointed out were from production vehicles, weren't they?
Most of the time people's custom paint looks crappy, it's because they just didn't spend the money to do it right. Or they spent the money in the wrong place. But a quality, uniform paint job? I just don't see that as being ricey. I read a lot of UK car mags, and I think a lot of the stuff they do looks awesome.

I am actually painting my evo right now , the last time i went too the track , I guess i can say i had too much fun , so im doing a complete paint job. I have been painting for 10 years , Im doing it red agian ,it would take a extra 100 hrs to paint door jambs and doors , a lot more stuff would have too come off , *** right now all the door handle are out all the trim is off ,rockers are off ,bumpers are off ,headlights ,taillights or out , There is so much orange peel on a factory paint job , this one will be glass . Doint bye a red car, paint cost too much 460$ gallon and thats no clear or hardner or reducer. soon it will be done .

NO you dont! LOL this car STAYs dirt and you can see ANY tiny spot or blemish, and then when you polish it it's not like Black or Red where you see a deep shine.

the darker the better, like 10 coats of black and 10 of clear.
